Thankfully the iffy weather held on May 30 & 31 for our big and beautiful spring native plant sale.
We had over 4,000 gorgeous, volunteer-grown locally native plants available to sell, and the majority were gone by the end of the weekend.
People who came were delighted with the large selection of species, and we are now receiving emails and photos of the plants thriving in their new gardens! Hurrah!
Guests this year with displays and info were photographer Heather Doyle and two UTM researchers looking for native plant garden locations for their study of urban pollinators.
We love thinking about the beautiful, nurturing habitat gardens that will soon be created with these plants.
What an exciting weekend!
