Weekends #1 & 2: Spruce Park Pollinator Garden Project

Updated: Nov 11, 2019

Huge thanks to the City of Mississauga for our Small Projects Grant! We are installing a beautiful pollinator garden in Spruce Park - a fun and very rewarding project. This past Saturday a fabulous team of community volunteers and our BB experts joined hands and hearts to create the hexagonal raised beds. Next spring, they will be filled with a profusion of blooming wildflowers to support our local native pollinators! Thanks for a great day, everyone!

Weekend #2 building the Spruce Park Pollinator Garden - another great day and a huge thanks to all the cheerful volunteers who came out to help us increase habitat for our native bees and butterflies. Thanks also to Amadio's Pizza for generously donating the delicious pizzas! Next weekend, we'll be at the Port Credit Library, building bee houses for the garden, and all are welcome to drop in to see what we're doing.
